The FlexYah Bench stretches from an amazing 6 inch size to seat up to 8+ people. We love how flexible it is; you can bend and curve it to how you like. Loop it to make a circular seat, shape it like a wavy snake or use it as a straight bench with a table for some extra seating. The bench format is very diverse in that you can sit on either side of it without a back rest conflicting with how you shape your seating. This also makes it lighter and easier to use while still retaining its amazing seat strength. It can hold up to 2000 lbs of weight, so stretch it out and enjoy sitting on this super-cool bench with friends. 2023 version has side handles as pictured. Now with a new cleaner look, with the handles removed & 6 cushions included! Available in White or Brown.

The FlexYah Bench stretches out to seat 8-10 people from a compact 6 inch size. You will love its flexible ability to change its shape and adapt its size. The transforming nature makes it a conversation piece as well as a functional seat space saver. It is made of recycled cardboard paper and utilizes a tried and true combination of corrugation and density. Combined with the tall height of the paper it can remarkably hold up to 2,000 lbs of weight! Available in Brown or White.

Warranty & Returns

On arrival we guarantee that it will be defect free. There is an expected wear and tear on this product in time due to its cardboard build. Customers should expect to see impressions and indentations that are a normal feature with use. Normal “wear and tear” are not covered under warranty. If overstretched, beyond our recommendations (maximum 11 feet) you could tear the cardboard or damage the glue (this is hard to do, but please don’t try!) – this voids the warranty. If you do not open the product (sealed package), you can return it (for USA/Canada orders only) within 7-10 days of receiving it. Overseas orders are final.

How does the seat feel?

This is bench style seating which is firm. You can also instead get the FlexYah Bench and padded Seat Pack combo which has softer padded seats for added comfort.

How long will it last

While you might be able to dent and leave impressions on the top layer, it will still flex, expand and hold your weight even after years of use. Expect to see wear on the top layers and consider this part of the rustic, natural appeal.

Is it Waterproof?

It is water-resistant but not waterproof. What that means in practical terms is try not spill water on it, but if you do by accident, dab up excess water as fast as possible with a towel and let it dry out – this should not affect the function although water stains might show up and shape might be slightly distorted. We advice to not sit on the product with a wet rain jacket or wet attire.

Space saver

An excellent space saver when not in use & it is also multifunctional. For long sitting comfort, I added my own long rectangular cushion

Overpriced cardboard bench

It's nice furniture, but it's too much money for what is essentially cardboard.

Great Find

We used the bench for our production of The SpongeBob Musical. It worked really well. We wish it had handles for ease of lifting, but it was durable and well made.

Can hold a lot, but difficult to stretch and maintain

I like the concept and followed the suggestions to stretch the couch, but it still is being a little challenging to get to stay out rather than go right back in like a slinky. Maybe that will come with time. It's heavy, which is good, but I wish it came with handles or something to make it easier to pull out.
