The Hover Single Murphy Bed Desk space saving office solution. This compact office & bed solution is designed to fit into small spaces while providing the flexibility of a foldaway work desk to maximize your space. The horizontal Single bed orientation can fit well in narrow but wide rooms or spaces with lower height ceilings where a normal bed would not fit. The folded open size is slightly larger than a single mattress at 43.5 inches. When the bed and desk are folded away this system only takes up ~17 inches allowing your space to feel more open. The compact horizontal build can even help turn a small den into a functional office & bedroom.

The Hover Single Murphy Bed Desk is a space saving solution for both work and sleep. Use the desk wall bed in an office or use it as a homework station in a bedroom. The desk can even fold flat against the closed bed to save even more space during the day. When you need a bed it is right there ready to use, hidden behind your desk in plain site. The system fits a USA sized single mattress of up to 10 inches in depth. We recommend a 9 inch or under so you can leave your bedding inside for convenient near seamless transition. This pairs well with the Expand 8″ Gel Mattress. This multipurpose single sized Murphy bed desk is horizontal in orientation which makes it great for wide rooms, and even fits into spaces with lower height ceilings or more narrow room sizes. The single Murphy bed fold open size is only slightly larger than the width of a single mattress at 43.5 inches making this a remarkably compact product. Finished in glossy white all over, including the desk.

Wall Mounting Required
Homes have different wall structures and it is important to get the correct anchors for your wall. While most hardware is included in this we do require you purchase your own wall anchors for this reason. After you determine your wall type (Drywall, Brick, Concrete, Wood etc) we can advise you on anchors or you can talk to your local hardware store or have your installer advise.
Mattress size
North American Single/Twin Sized. You can test out a mattress that suits your comfort level and lifestyle and provided it is under 10 inches in height (use a measuring tape to the side) it will fit in our system.
